'Maya' Karen Sorensen is a visionary artist whose mystic imagination and vivid impressionist paintings inspire the viewer to look beyond the surface, to journey within the flowing colorful scenes and enter into a field of the human spirit and nature dancing together in an illusive unison...the more you look the more you see. These are paintings you can't just glance at, they invite you in. Placed upon a wall in your home they inspire conversations of how we perceive the world and the spirit of nature. Karen Sorensen, born into a family of artists, painted her first impressionist oil painting at age 7. Along with exhibiting in Galleries throughout the mainland US, Caribbean and Hawaii, she has also painted murals for 25 years and offers a complimentary consultation for scenic design. Mahalo.
